1 Soak 440g rice in water for 5 hours; Remove; Rinse and drain 2 Peel and cut a banana into sections.


Spiced Yoghurt

Ingredients :

450ml plain yoghurt, 25g fennel seeds, some salt, 25g sugar, 4T vegetable oil, 1 dried red chili pepper.

SEASONINGS:
1/4t mustard seeds, 1/4t cumin seeds, 5 curry leaves, some asafoetida, some ground turmeric.

Preparation :

1. Granulate sugar.
2. Grind fennel seeds.
3. Add 450ml plain yoghurt, some salt, the fennel seeds and the sugar to a heatproof serving plate; Mix well; Cover; Chill in the fridge.
4. Heat a pan over a high heat; Add 4T vegetable oil and heat over a high heat; Turn to a low heat; Add a dried red chili pepper; Stir-fry over a low heat till fragrant; Add seasonings; Stir-fry over a low heat till the dried red chili pepper turns dark; Turn off the heat; Pour in the yoghurt mixture from the step 3; Fold the mixture together when serving.
