New Recipes

1 Peel, rinse and mince garlic 2 Peel, rinse and mine ginger.


Ingredients :

600g whole wheat flour, 2t salt, 1/2t sugar, 250ml warm water, 125ml ghee, some vegetable oil.

Preparation :

1. Strain wheat flour through a sieve into a mixing bowl; Add the 2t salt and 1/2t sugar; Mix well; Gradually pour in warm water; Mix well; Knead into smooth dough; Divide into 10 equal portions; Cover with a damp cloth; Leave them for 30 minutes.
2. Grease a cutting board; Spread each portion of dough with little ghee on top; Flatten each with palms.
3. Pick each flatten dough up by the edges and swirl in circular motion to spread out as wide and thin as possible; Fold in half; Brush the surface with some oil; Fold in half again to form a curled ball; Leave it for 5 minutes; Repeat till more air is trapped in.
4. Flatten each dough from the step 3 with palms and shape each into a flat circle with a rolling pin; Heat a skillet over a high heat; Evenly grease the skillet; Turn to a low heat; Pan-fry each circle over a low heat till both sides have been golden brown; (grease the skillet again before pan-fry each circle); Ready to serve.
